💉 How to Use Ozempic
Administration: Ozempic is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) once a week.
Recommended Dosing:
Week 1-4: 0.25 mg once weekly.
Week 5-8: 0.5 mg once weekly.
After week 8: If blood sugar is not well controlled on 0.5 mg, the dose can be increased to 1 mg once weekly.
How to Inject:
Check the pen to ensure it contains a clear, colorless solution.
Attach a new needle to the pen.
Prime the pen by pressing the flow button to check for the medication flow before first use.
Select the required dose using the dose selector.
Inject the medication under the skin of your abdomen or thigh.
Store the pen in the refrigerator before use.
